Leonardo da Vinci was an Italian artist and inventor.
History
When Homer thought destroy Thomas Edison's chair he reveals that Edison idolized Leonardo da Vinci in the same way Homer idolizes Edison and that Edison was never able to match da Vinci's accomplishments.[1]
When Homer want to fool a man in a car at he was leaving he tell to Marge at if you she was married to Da Vinci, she wouldn’t tell him not to Da Vinch.[2]
He is one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[3]
