James J. Corbett ("Gentleman Jim" Corbett) was an Irish-American boxer.
History
After a boxing said Mr. Burns at he once watched Gentleman Jim Corbett fight an Eskimo fellow bare-knuckled for a hundred and thirteen rounds! Back then, if the fight lasted less than fifty rounds, we demanded our nickel back.[1]
He is one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[2]
