Theodore Roosevelt was the 26th President of the United States, serving from 1901 to 1909. He is one of four U.S. Presidents whose faces appear on Mount Rushmore.

History

A man told Bob Arnold that he will drill for oil on Theodore Roosevelt's head on Mount Rushmore. When Bob saw the money the man could pay for it he said Teddy who and started to laugh just before the man arrested him, revealing the whole plan to be an elaborate FBI sting operation.[1]

Roosevelt appeared in an old Itchy & Scratchy cartoon, "Manhattan Madness". In the cartoon, Itchy walked around Manhattan, encountering various people and killing them in gory ways. Among them was Roosevelt, whom Itchy decapitated with an axe.[2]

When Superintendent Chalmers took personal responsibility for Bart's education, he told Bart about Theodore Roosevelt to get Bart interested in learning. Bart and Chalmers later formed a Roosevelt-focused study group, and when Chalmers was fired due to a field trip mishap, Roosevelt's example inspired the group to take over the school and successfully demand that Chalmers be given his job back.[3]
