Character Information
|
Moog is a gang leader and bartender from London, England whose voice and figure resembles Springfield's Moe Szyslak.
History[edit]
Moog tells the story from his point of view: he is a former "hoodlink" along with his "bestest glugs" Dum, Carlton, and Leonard who, with them, used to run mischief on the streets of London. However, Dum got a girlfriend and got a job as a beefeater at the Tower of London. After this, Carlton and Leonard informed him that his service was no longer needed and was thrown out of Big Ben. After this, Moog became a barkeep. Years later, Moog sat at home watching FOX with eye clamps so he didn't look away. However, members of the new gang gave Moog a beating and smashed his "Shmoo" on his head.
After these events, he goes to seek help from Dum who is now married and has a young daughter. He tells Dum that he wants his "glugs back for one last bit of barmy." The next scene cuts to Dum and Moog walking past the UKwik-E-Mart. Moog starts off by walking across the street when not supposed to and is subsequently hit with batons by two police officers, who turn out to be Carlton and Leonard. The officers also re-join the gang and they agree on breaking into Burns' London manor where an erotic book release party is happening. However, the gang's plan fails and they are all beaten up, but Moog was still happy.

Behind the Laughter[edit]
- Moog appears in the "A Clockwork Yellow" segment of "Treehouse of Horror XXV", which is a parody of A Clockwork Orange.
- Moog's name is a portmanteau of "Moe" and "droog" (Alex term for his gang members in A Clockwork Orange).
- It may also be a reference to the fact that the score for A Clockwork Orange was composed by Wendy Carlos on a Moog synthesizer.
