Matt Selman (born September 9, 1971) is an American writer and producer. He currently serves as a writer, executive producer, and showrunner for The Simpsons and previously served as a staff writer, story editor, producer, supervising producer, and co-executive producer. He was also interviewed in The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special – In 3-D! On Ice!.

Selman is married to Renee Ridgeley, who is an occasional voice actress for The Simpsons.

Selman was nominated for Writers Guild of America awards in Animation awards for the episodes "Jaws Wired Shut"[1], "Girls Just Want to Have Sums"[2], "The Haw-Hawed Couple"[3], "Oh Brother, Where Bart Thou?"[4], and "Covercraft".[5], "Sky Police"[6] He also won an award for the episode "The Dad Who Knew Too Little".[7]
