Character Information
|
Bambi Bouvier (née Petitbois), occasionally referred to as Great Grandma Bouvier, was the daughter of Henri and Marie Petitbois and the paternal grandmother of Marge Simpson. She married Pépé Bouvier and they had three sons; Clancy, JoJo and Chester Bouvier and one daughter; Charlene Bouvier. Like many other Bouvier relatives, Bambi smoked.
History
When Marge was young, Bambi owned a old dog named Fetchy. She owned a silver locket with a picture of her in her flapper days. She told Marge that the 1972 soft rock song Brandy was based on her life. Selma sings Brandy as a sad ballad lullaby to Lisa.[1]
What appeared to be a Civil War figurine was passed down to Marge from her or Marge's other grandmother, but when the family went to sell it to Cockamamie's, it turned out to be a liquor bottle from the early 1970s.[2]
Appearances
- Episode – "Homer's Phobia" (mentioned or it was Marge's other grandmother)
- Book – The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album
