On August 30, 2017, Alf Clausen told Variety that he had been fired from the show as they wanted "a different kind of music".[1] Clausen's last official episode as main composer was "Whistler's Father", although he also composed music for the song "Nobody Knows Hans Moleman" in the episode "Grampy Can Ya Hear Me".
