The Space Marshmallow, also known as The Blob, is an intergalactic alien that came to Springfield in a meteor.
History[edit]
The Space Marshmallow in its original form.
While Homer and Marge were making out in the back yard, a meteor fell from the sky, through Marge's hair, and landed in the yard. As the Simpsons looked at the meteor, it hatched, revealing the Space Marshmallow inside. Homer picked up the Space Marshmallow with a stick and decided to eat it. After a short struggle to get the Space Marshmallow to stay down, he finally succeeded. That night, while he was trying to sleep, Homer's stomach started making noises. He then got up and went into the kitchen where he ate all the food in the house. Hearing the noises, Bart went into the kitchen to find out what was going on, and Homer tried to eat Bart. Marge stopped Homer from doing so, but also found out that Homer had eaten the cat.
Still hungry, Homer ventured out into town in search for food. He found his way to the beach, where several teenagers had a barbecue sauce fight. The squeaky-voiced teen fell into the campfire in the fight and Homer couldn't resist himself any longer and started to eat him. Homer continued going around town and found himself at Oktoberfest, where he ate several fat Germans. He then decided to keep eating more fat people around town, continuously growing bigger and fatter, and eventually went green. On the news, the rest of the Simpsons saw the rampage Homer was doing. Dr. Phil tried to talk Homer down and told Homer that they wanted to help Homer. Homer ate Dr. Phil, but told Marge that he wanted to keep Marge in his life and would do anything. He decided that he wanted to turn his problem into a positive for the community.
Soon after, Mayor Quimby opened up a new homeless shelter in Springfield. However, this turned out to be a facade and Homer was on the other side eating all the homeless people who came through.
