Character Information
|
Scoey is a character in a McBain movie.
History
Scoey was a veteran cop who was two days from retirement, and his daughter Suzie was about to graduate from college. Following his retirement, he and his wife planned to sail the world in a boat called the "The Live-4-Ever".
However, during an evening at a Sloppy Joes diner, a hitman, hired by Senator Mendoza, posed as a waiter and attempted to gun down McBain. The hitman missed because Scoey-who was leaning over to look at a photo he was showing McBain of his wife and newly christened boat- accidentally took the first bullets and was then shot multiple times after he moved away from McBain. McBain attempted to stop the assassin by shooting at him, but the assassin managed to get away by crashing though a window on a motorcycle. As Scoey died in his arms, McBain became more determined than ever to put an end to Mendoza's reign of terror.
