The Man in the Iron Mask is a hero.

The Man in the Iron Mask was played by Gina Gershon in The Poke of Zorro. After Zorro fenced with the Three Musketeers and kills them he starts to fence with the Man in the Iron Mask and tells the man that he will bring King Arthur back to the throne.[1]

The Man in the Iron Mask was in prison at Château d'If. Carl, who was a guard, said that he was the rightful king of France. The Man in the Iron Mask then asked if anyone heard him admit it, before he realized nobody did.[2]
