Judah Ben-Hur was a wealthy prince and merchant in Jerusalem.

History[edit]

During the final of the Soapbox Derby Race between Bart and Nelson, the commentator said that like the elegant Roman in Judah Ben-Hur these modern charioteers battle ferociously.[1]

In A Burns for All Seasons, Mr. Burns gave water to Judah Ben-Hur played by Charlton Heston. After he drunk the water, Judah Ben-Hur said to Burns that he is truly the king of kings.[2]
