History[edit]
The fifth grade at Springfield Elementary performed a scene from Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol during the Christmas pageant.[1]
The morning after Homer watched Mr. McGrew's Christmas Carol, Lisa told him that A Christmas Carol that was written by Charles Dickens 160 years ago.[2]
When the school bullies used a card shuffler to shuffle the school library's card catalogue, Dickens was placed next to Proust.[3]
Bart needed to write an essay about Charles Dickens and talked Lisa into helping him.[4]
