When trying to get Homer to ease up his punishment of Bart not being allowing to ever see "The Itchy & Scratchy Movie" Lisa pleas Bart "has the demented melancholy of a Tennessee Williams heroine."[1]
A channel-surfing Grady tells an oblivious Homer that Tennessee Williams was gay.[2]
When Candace told Homer that she was an author, Homer told her that he thought she was a pharmacist. She then told him that Tennessee Williams worked in a shoe factory.[3]
