Ernest Hemingway is an author that wrote A Farewell to Arms.

History[edit]

Dr. Egoyan pointed out to Abraham Simpson that if he killed himself, he'd follow in the footsteps of Ernest Hemingway.[1]

Two of Hemingway's ex-wives, Hadley Richardson and Pauline Pfeiffer, appeared to Lisa telling her that authors make bad lovers.[2]

At one point in his life, Mr. Burns met Hemingway and drew a picture of him.[3]

Hemimgway's picture was seen on the back of A Farewell to Arms.[4]

The Simpsons go to Havana and Marge read her travel guide Cuban Escapes where she learnt they "could go see Mariel Hemingway's grandfather's house" which Homer then read how "apparently he was a writer."[5]
