History
When Drederick Tatum won over a Swede he did a triumphant turkey trot the sport commentator said that thoughts turn to Alexander of Macedon's victory at Granicus and Issus.[1]
After a carrier pigeon gave a message that saved his life, Genereal George S. Patton said that he would pick the American pigeon over Alexander the Great's Griffin any day.[2]
