Max was an ice cream man whose best customer was Homer.
History[edit]
Homer got fired, chasing after the ice cream van, but while giving Homer his change, he suffered a heart attack and died. At his funeral, Max's wife gave Homer his ice cream truck and Homer became an ice cream man.[1]
In Bart's coma dream, Max was one of the ghosts who came to Bart to get help to move on to the afterlife.[2]
