History

When Homer goes to college, he cannot stand nerds. To calm him down, Lisa explains that some nerds have done memorable things and mentions popcorn magnate Orville Redenbacher, rock star David Byrne and Associate Justice of the Supreme Court David Souter.[1]

He performed a version of "Everybody Hates Ned Flanders" that contained an extended Salsa mix.[2]

He is also one of the many people on "Ned's List of Laudable Lefties".[3]
