Mary Lincoln was the First Lady of the United States to Abraham Lincoln.

History

Homer has dreamt that he saved Abraham Lincoln from be killed when he knocked down John Wilkes Booth. Lincoln's wife Mary was sitting next to him in the theatre.[1]

When Homer looked at a collection of pine cones featuring the first ladies he asked Marge where Abigail Adams was before he found her. He then asked her where Mary Todd Lincoln was, before finding her. He then asked about Ida Saxton McKinley before he found her, and then he was going to ask about one more but Bart started to talk with him so he stopped searching for the ladies. [2]

The reason behind this decision is: .

Professor Frink went back in time to 1865 to save Abe Lincoln. Frink meets the president and he sees that the two are equal so Homer asks Frink to take over his place in the meantime he takes a beer. Frink goes and sits down in the president box. Shortly after, Booth directed a gun on him but Frink moves before he can fire the gun. Booth then tries to shoot Frink again but fails and Frank sprays him with a ice spray so he get frost-bite. Mary asks who Frink is, and he tells him that he is a hero from the future and she start to kiss him when he start to transports back home.[3]
