Ophelia is a character in the Shakespeare play Hamlet.
History
When Ophelia thought Prince Hamlet was acting crazy, she shouted "Nobody out-crazies Ophelia!" and began singing and hollering while she jumped on dinner tables, stepping in people's food and knocking over their drinks. Ophelia finished by leaping out the window and into a pond, where she drowned.
