Samuel Morse was an American inventor.

History

When Mr. Burns and Homer were snowed in, Burns tried to call for help by sending a signal in Morse code. However, the signal only went to a telegraph key that was next to a dummy of Samuel Morse in a museum.

Behind the Laughter

Morse is best known for being a co-inventor of the Morse code telegraph signaling system which bears his name.
