General George S. Patton was an army general in World War II.

History[edit]

In a commercial for a DVD on World War II, there was a section about the carrier pigeon in which General Patton appeared. A pigeon delivered a message to him saying that there was a bomb in his helmet and effectively saved his life.[1]
