Sir Isaac Newton was an English physicist, mathematician, astronomer, natural philosopher, alchemist, and theologian, and is considered by many scholars and members of the general public to be one of the most influential people in human history.

History

Isaac appeared in a dream by Homer had when he met his guardian angel. He assumed the form of someone Homer would recognize. However, Homer didn't recognize him and he transformed into Colonel Klink.[1] Professor Frink has also used a time machine to pick Newton up and take him to the present day but after the power was lost during the transmission only Newton's leg transferred and it started to chase after Frink and kick his butt.[2]

Lisa mentioned Newton when she gave her presentation on Poindextrose at the Big Science Thing. She began by saying, "As long as there have been smart people, there have been bullies to prey on them. From Galileo to Sir Isaac Newton." She then showed slides of Galileo and Newton being menaced and beaten up.[3]

Professor Frink threw an apple at a bust of Isaac Newton and smashed it.[4]
