The Gremlin is a creature that tried to destroy the school bus.

History

Bart had a dream one night where the school bus lost a wheel and crashed. The next day, whilst on the bus, Bart finds a Gremlin on the side. The Gremlin is attempting to destroy the bus by gouging the side and removing the bolts from the tires, so that they would fall off. Bart tries to tell everyone, but the Gremlin hid, and everyone else assumed Bart was crazy. Bart decided to take matters into his own hands by throwing a flare at the Gremlin. This knocked the Gremlin off the bus, where he was found by Ned Flanders. Flanders remarked "it's some kind of hideous monster... How cute, he's trying to gouge out my eyes."

Although he was proved to be right about the monster, Bart is still taken away in an ambulance to a mental asylum as punishment for being disruptive. Bart assumes everything will be okay, but the monster shows up at the window holding Flanders' severed head.

The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Gremlins were available to be distributed into friends towns, with up to 10 being able to roam at any time, during Halloween 2013. Gremlins could be picked up for free from ghosts or could be bought.

When Gremlins are squished by the player who owns the town, they will get 2 and the player who played the Gremlin gets 2. However, if the player doesn't find the Gremlins within 4 hours, the player who placed them will get 4.
