Charles Lindbergh, also know as Lucky Lindy, was an American pilot who flew the Spirit of St. Louis.

History

During the final of the Soapbox Derby Race between Bart and Nelson the commentator said the world has not seen the likes of this since the French carried Lucky Lindy off on their shoulders from Le Bourget Field.[1]

In 1927, Charles Lindbergh threw Mr. Burns' childhood teddy bear Bobo into a crowd where it was grabbed by Hitler.[2]
