John Hancock was an American statesman, and most famous for being a prominent Patriot of the American Revolution.
History
Bart dreamt that he witnessed the signing of the Declaration of Independence but because it was snowing they ran out of the building to play in the snow instead, where Hancock write his name.[1]
The night after Homer met a look-alike of James Madison he dreamed that he said to John Hancock that he did not need insurance and to Sam Adams that he is sorry he made fun of his winter ale, before Marge woke him.[2]
