William Howard Taft was the 27th President of the United States, serving from 1909-1913.

History

Mr. Burns' mother once had an affair with President Taft, for which he never forgave her.[1]

When the kids took over Springfield Elementary, Milhouse vandalized the portraits of several Presidents by drawing moustaches on them. When he got to Taft's portrait, he was about to give it the same treatment, but then was utterly taken aback when he found that Taft already had a moustache.[2]

A picture of Taft was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.[3]
