Frederick Charles "Freddy" Krueger is a character from the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise.
History[edit]
A look-a-like of him singing the "Springfield Blows" song.[1]
Non-canon[edit]
After Marge locks Homer in the cellar he is unwillingly released by Moe, along with a band of demons including Jason Voorhees, Count Dracula, the Mummy, the Wolfman, and Pinhead, despite wanting to finish eating before killing his family.[2]
Behind the Laughter[edit]
- Freddy Krueger appeared in "Treehouse of Horror IX"'s couch gag. He sat on the Simpson's couch with Jason Voorhees (from Friday The 13th) watching television, waiting for the Simpsons to arrive.
- He was parodied by Willie in the "Nightmare on Evergreen Terrace" section of "Treehouse of Horror VI". Freddy Krueger's backstory was he worked as a school janitor like Groundskeeper Willie.
