Jack the Ripper was an unidentified serial killer active in the fall of 1888 in and around Whitechapel, a slum in the East End of London, England.

History[edit]

At Moe's Tavern, after Chief Wiggum said that Homer knew everything, he asked him who Jack the Ripper was. As Homer leaves Moe's he yells, "The Queen's private surgeon."[1]

He is among the famous historical figures claimed to have known The Answer.[2]

Shary Bobbins takes Bart, Lisa and Maggie for a walk in the park where a lot of Victorian England anarchistic behavior including Kearney as a newsie shooting, "Extra! Extra! Ripper strikes in Whitechapel!"[3]
