John Tyler was the 10th President of the United States, serving from 1841-1845. He was elected Vice President and succeeded to the Presidency when William Henry Harrison died of illness one month after the start of his term.
History[edit]
He was portrayed by a student in Springfield Elementary's Presidents' Day play.[1]
A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.[2]
