The Krusty the Clown Show was said to be filmed on the corner of Zany Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard.[1]

When Homer was working as a guard in the Springfield Juvenile Correctional Facility, he told Bart that he would see him on Monday, only to realize that it was Martin Luther King Jr. Day.[2]

Martin Luther King Jr. participated in The Krusty the Clown Show in 1964. After Krusty, in the same episode, got snowballs in his crotch, he started to laugh.[3]

In his Black History Month presentation, Ralph said that Martin Luther King had a dream. He then went on to talk about a dream he had where he went to a party with Elmo and Buzz Lightyear.[4]

Kent Brockman mentioned that Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, and Desmond Tutu all won the Nobel Peace Prize.[5]
