History[edit]

When Bart told Homer that the thermostat was just painted on the wall, Homer used a painted phone to call for someone to come over to look at the thermostat. Homer then pulled out a cutout of Mac Tonight. Homer then told the family that whilst he was gone, the family would do what Mac Tonight said.[1]

Mac Tonight appeared in Homer's dreams. Firstly, he sung "Here's the Story". He later sung "You're a Spokesman" and "You Listened". Through his songs, Mac Tonight convinced Homer to speak out against X-Cell-Ent Burger.[2]

Behind the Laughter[edit]

Mac Tonight was a fictional character used by McDonald's in the 1980s.
