Vinnie the Vulture is the mascot for Springfield's semi-amateur hockey team.

History

Kirk Van Houten was the understudy for the person who wore the Vinnie the Vulture costume. Kirk went to Springfield Elementary School in the costume to show off on stage. However, he started to get itchy in the costume then had a bee in his beak. When Milhouse was panicking from Bart's grenade prank, Milhouse jumped into the butt flap of Vinnie.
