The living treehouse is Bart's treehouse after it came to life.

History

When Homer got annoyed at Bart telling scary stories in the treehouse, he tried to cut it down. However, he quickly got tired and went to sleep against the tree. That night, a thunderstorm started and lightning hit the treehouse, bringing it to life. The treehouse then attacked Homer for attempting to cut it down then pulled itself out of the ground and went through Springfield.

The living treehouse came across the Springfield Christmas Tree Farm and was horrified to find that people were cutting them down. The living tree then brought them all to life and started to make an army. The army of trees then marched through town until they were approached by a militia of people armed with weapons. When the two sides got ready to fight, the trees released pollen which caused everyone to start sneezing and wooden objects, such as Homer's baseball bat, to come to life. The trees then slaughtered everyone and piled them up in a Christmas tree formation.
