Edgar Allan Poe was an American author, poet, editor and literary critic.

History

When Dr. Nick demonstrated Spiffy he used it on the gravestone of "author and troubled soul" Edgar Allen Poe.[1]

Lisa keeps a collection of poems by Edgar Allan Poe on a bookshelf, next to of Allen Ginsberg's work, Jack Kerouac's novel On the Road, and Victor Hugo's novel Les Miserables.[2]

Allison Taylor makes a shoebox diorama based on one of his poems, The Telltale Heart.[3]
