Pocahontas was the daughter of a Powhatan chief notable for her association with settling of the modern-day Virginia.
History[edit]
In a film about the first Olympics made by Homer and Bart, they explained that they couldn't have the first Olympics in the USA because Pocahontas was still trying to guide Lewis and Clark to the Pacific. Later when they found the Pacific, they were all grown up and got married together. They represented her with a doll.[1]
When Sacagawea helped Meriwether Lewis and William Clark find the Pacific, they once called her Pocahontas.[2]
