Chief Hoolihan receives a threatening letter from Larva Girl, where she blackmails Radioactive Man for Zircona-Gems from the planet Remitrom to not harm Fallout Boy, whom she has taken as a hostage. Radioactive Man flies to the planet and collects Zircona Gems, but when he gives them to Larva Girl to release Fallout Boy, he starts to fall in love with her and he proposes to her because his molecular structure has been exposed to Remitrom's sun. Just before they are married, Gloria Grand stops the wedding and asks Larva Girl if she can kiss him one more time before he gets married, which she accepts. After Radioactive Man is kissed, he is no longer in love with Larva Girl. Larva Girl and her friends start attacking Radioactive Man and his friends, but they manage to seize them. Bug Boy tells us why Radioactive Man ended up falling in love with her: he made an antidote, which he placed in a lipstick that he gave to Gloria.[2]

Radioactive Man was shown holograms of Larva Girl around Zenith City by Dr. Crab using holograms that only Radioactive Man could see.[3]
