Nick Fury is a secret agent and spy for S.H.I.E.L.D.

History

In a post-credits scene for a Marvel film, Nick Fury was recruited by a man who was assembling a team of the best team assemblers in the world who wanted Nick Fury to help assemble that team. This was a tie-in to the new movie Assemblers Assemble!.

People were seen dressed as Nick Fury at Comicalooza.

When Fruit Bat Man was captured by The Abominable Dr. Lenny, he sent a signal up to Nick Fury who then called upon other elderly superheroes to create the Octogenarian Initiative from his satellite base, putting together The Dependables.

Carl Carlson dressed up as Nick Fury when he was part of the Springfield Avengers.
