The Human Torque was Otto Mann's superhero alter-ego when he was affected by a nuclear explosion, giving him superpowers.

History

When Sinister Van Dalus threatened his world, Plasmo went to Springfield to enlist their help in stopping the supervillain. He granted the Springfield Super-Squadron powers and took them to his world to defeat Van Dalus. The Human Torque was among the superheroes who helped.

Behind the Laughter

The name is a reference to the Human Torch from Marvel Comics.
