Fulgencio Batista was the dictator of Cuba.

History[edit]

When Mr. Burns visited Cuba with Homer and Smithers he wanted to speak with Batista, who he thought was still running the country. Their taxi driver told him that Batista had gone, and a surprised Burns asked an also unaware Homer if he knew. After this exchange they visited the current leader, Fidel Castro.
