Barney hired her for his Plow King commercial, in which she sang the Plow King jingle. In the ad, she sang the jingle in English. Later, she told Barney that she was working on a Spanish-language version of the jingle and sang a couple of lines for Barney.

Moe asked Barney how he got Linda Ronstadt to work with him, and Barney answered that they had been looking for a project to do together for a while.[1]
