Anne of Cleves was a German noblewoman, the fourth wife of Henry VIII of England and as such she was Queen of England.

History

While building a model depicting the inside of Westminster Abbey (a project that Bart was supposed to do), Homer fell asleep and dreamed he met Geoffrey Chaucer's ghost. Chaucer told Homer that he was doing the right thing in doing all of Bart's work for him, as it was the best thing for the boy. Next, Anne of Cleves appeared and told Homer that Chaucer's advice was terrible; Homer's doing everything for Bart meant that he would never learn to do anything for himself. Oscar Wilde then appeared, quoting some of his most famous sayings, annoying Homer.[1]

King Henry VIII got married to Anne of Cleves, who was an old woman, as she had a great track record of producing sons. Henry VIII had her executed, where she criticized the executioner's techniques.[2]
