James Abram Garfield was the 20th President of the United States, serving in 1881. He died from assassination six months into his term and was succeeded by his Vice President, Chester A. Arthur.

History[edit]

A picture of him was seen in a book that Superintendent Chalmers showed Bart, before Bart developed an interest in Theodore Roosevelt.
