History

Marge and Lisa Simpson made the Female Golem out of Play-Doh to be the mate of the Male Golem. She was beautiful (having a multicolored outfit due to being made from several different colors of Play-Doh) but when they brought her to life, they found that she spoke with a weird voice. Homer grabbed an axe and advanced on her, saying "Well, back to the drawing board", but the Male Golem stopped him and said she was perfect.

The Female Golem and the Male Golem were later married in a Jewish wedding.

Behind the Laughter

In real life, Fran Drescher, who provided the voice of the Female Golem, has a distinctive voice with a strong Queens, NY accent, referenced in Homer's wanting to chop up the Female Golem with an axe because of her voice.
