Lenore

Character Information
|
Lenore is a character from "Lenore" and "The Raven", two poems by Edgar Allan Poe. She is never seen as a living person, as both poems refer to her as being deceased.
In "The Raven", her husband (the poem's narrator) goes insane, partially due to grief over her death. When Homer heard Lisa reading "The Raven", he imagined himself as the narrator and Marge as Lenore.
