Character Information
|
The apple vendor is a man from the Ethnictown neighborhood of Springfield. He has an outdoor display where he sells several kinds of apples.
When the Simpsons visited Ethnictown, Marge listened for a moment and said, "You can hear the beautiful ethnic serenade!" referring to merchants calling out in a sing-song voice to advertise their wares. The first person they heard was the Apple Vendor, who called out, "Apples! I got apples!"
