Character Information
|
Galileo Galilei was an Italian physicist, mathematician, astronomer, and philosopher.
History[edit]
At the Big Science Thing, when Lisa gave her presentation on Poindextrose, she began by saying, "As long as there have been smart people, there have been bullies to prey on them. From Galileo to Sir Isaac Newton." She then showed slides of Galileo and Newton being menaced and beaten up.[1]
Once, Bart filled Seymour Skinner's car with Squishee. Bart thanked Galileo for the telescope, which he was using to watch Skinner drowning in Squishee.[2]
