He and Roger Meyers, Sr. produced the Steamboat Itchy cartoon in 1928.[1]

The cover of The Fitzgeralds and the Kennedys by Doris Kearns Goodwin was on the classroom wall when Goodwin herself taught the art/history class at Lisa's new school after the Simpsons moved from Springfield to Boston.[2]
