After Ned and Sara Sloane had sex, Sara said that made her forget all about Bob Balaban. Ned then said that Maude used to say that. After Ned and Sara broke up, Ned watched Publicity Tonight which did a segment on Sara Sloane. Balaban married Sloane and divorced only three hours later. Ned said that he thought he and Sara could have lasted twice as long as that.[1]
