Robert E. Lee during the American Civil War was the General-in-Chief of the Confederate Army,

History[edit]

When Homer ends up in a reenactment of the American Revolution, the actors think Homer is with them. Two of them start to fight over who will take the Yankee (Homer) to the prison pen. When the first man gives the order, he mentions Robert E. Lee.
