Bart Simpson entered a camera club at his school, which appeared to be taking place in a dark room. In the dark room, after the picture of Homer dancing with Princess Kashmir was developed and presented to the members, a boy commented that Homer "brings to mind the later works of Diane Arbus".[1]
In Lisa's Dream House she wanted a famous artist gallery, which included Grandma Moses, Frida Kahlo, Georgia O'Keeffe, Dorothea Lange, Mary Cassatt, and Diane Arbus among others.[2]
